Event of dissemination of the Erasmus + Project SK01-KA219-022503_5 "Cultural Identity as the key to the Gate of Tolerance in Europe"- Statte- Italy

On the evening of 29 July 2018, in the Arena Ressa in Statte, the event of dissemination of the Erasmus + 2016/18 Project: "Cultural Identity as the key to the Gate of Tolerance in Europe" took place. The project was realized with the partnership of seven schools belonging to different European countries: Holland, England, France, Greece, Slovakia and Italy, with Statte and Palermo.
The dissemination, foreseen by the European Erasmus + protocol, was not only a due fulfillment, but a moment of joy and celebration for all the participants, despite the summer and holiday periods that prevented some from being present ...The event, which had the free patronage of the City of Statte, which always supported the school in all its initiatives, was included in one of the musical evenings planned by the municipal summer calendar. This organization was strongly desired by the school to reach the largest number of citizens with the purpose to let them know the project activities and spread the message related to the "European dream of Ventotene", the Altiero Spinelli's dream that, although a bit undermined by the impact with current reality, remains the cornerstone of the peaceful coexistence of European people ...
"United in diversity", this is the motto of the European Community that the school of Statte wants to bring, with facts and not just words, to new generations who, as we can see by the results of this project, seem very willing to welcome it ... In these two years, "friends by ... e-mails and whatsapp" were born, visits were made with entire families out of the project activities, the students caught the opportunity to keep in touch with their new European friends, giving the whole experience its true and authentic meaning!
During the event, all the children who participated to the mobility, the host families, the professors of the working group, the Mayor, Francesco Andrioli, and the Culture Councilor Prof. Patrizia Artuso were given copies of the photographic catalogue that summarizes all the activities and mobility of the whole project.
The evening was livened up by the exhibitions of two excellent musical groups: the rock group “Dinkleberg” and the "Extraordinary Edition", a new band of Rithm and Blues.
